Bangkok - Albricias’ new Tapas Fest nine-course menu, meticulously curated by the new Executive Chef David Aparicio, promises a captivating journey through the vibrant culinary landscape of Spain. The adventure begins with a selection of enticing tapas and starters. The Iberic Fish contrasts the smokiness of hamachi with the creamy mentaiko tartar and a wisp of wasabi foam. For the purists, theEl Bocado De Joselito offers a classic pairing of Joselito ham with pan de cristal and tomato. The Ensaladilla de Txangurro offers an intriguing twist – the creaminess of avocado mousse paired with crab salad and a touch of chili pickle.

Steak Tartare promises decadence powered by beef marrow, mustard mayo, and Baeri caviar. A playful reimagining of the classic patatas bravas, theNuestras Bravasis a potato millefeuille, with added textural elements along with the garlicky punch of alioli. The chef next presents fried squid – Las Rabas de Bilbao. Light tempura batter, roasted garlic foam and citrus jelly offer intriguing counterpoints.

The main course dives into the heart of Spain to offerArroz Negro with Carabineros & Almejas en Salsa Verde – squid ink paella enriched with sofrito sauce topped with grilled carabineros (red shrimp), and clams in a vibrant green sauce.

To conclude are two enticing dessert options:Catalan Cream and Strawberry Surprise offers a delightful balance of textures and flavours with its torched custard base, vibrant red fruit chutney topping and house made strawberry ice cream promises, whileCreamy Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Orange is a complex and satisfying end to the meal where rich cocoa mingles with cinnamon over an almond dacquoise paired with orange ice cream

The focus of the menu is on fresh, high-quality ingredients and innovative takes on classic Spanish dishes. With Chef David Aparicio, Albricias has certainly returned to its Spanish beginnings. And it has our vote.To book your Spanish experience click HERE.
